Little Miss Braided

I know, I know, I know,….I said I was going to slow down with this “Vendor”-thing and here I am releasing not one but two new items and probably two to four new items in the works of wich two are specifically for animals and at least one is for DazStudio only but I’m getting ahead of myself.

For now there are two new pose sets available in my store at Renderosity that are esspecially made with a certain hairstyle in mind. Hr-229 by Ali, wich is available at Renderosity aswell.

Little MissBraided for L’Femme is a set of FullBody poses for L’Femme – a Base Figure wich is included in the Poser 11.3 service release so if you bought Poser 11+, you should allready have her in your runtime but if that is not the case she can still be obtained HERE at Renderosity.
Mind you, she might not work in earlier versions of Poser.

Personally I think L’Femme is a very nice figure to work with. It takes a bit of getting use to how she looks and functions in the preview/workspace as to how she renders but I kinda like her.

Another favorite Base Figure of mine – since Victoria 4 – is Hivewire Dawn and needless to say I created the same pose set for her. And Hivewire Dawn is also released as content in Poser 11+, so again, if you have bought Poser 11 you should allready have Hivewire Dawn in your runtime.
Unlike L’Femme, Hivewire Dawn does work in earlier versions of Poser. She will load in Poser 9 and up so if you haven’t bought Poser 11 and you haven’t bought Hivewire Dawn then she is only available as a Special Edition Community Bundle HERE.
A pretty expensive bundle but with alot of content. Maybe purchasing Poser 13 as an upgrade might be more economical for you then.
Poser 13 is available at Renderosity, for the Full-Version aswell as an Upgrade from Poser 11 so you make up your mind on that.

Both the pose sets were tested by my good friend Elleque, you find a link to her Blog HERE and she posted a tutorial on how to use poses for L’Femme 1 on L’Femme 2. You can also find some tips on how to use the hair on Dawn 2.
You can find the Tutorial on her Blog or go straight to the Tutorial HERE. And while you are there you should browse around. Elleque is a very talented 3D Artist and creator. Her Scampixie Pranx 2 is still for sale and available at ShareCG HERE.
And you have never seen such a cute little character with a load of free available content.
She has been creating content for DazStudio lately and you can visit her store HERE, it is really worth it to go have a look. Cute, good quality and very generous.

Anyhew, let’s get back to the topic.
Like I said, there are more projects for my store in the works allthough I don’t know when but freebies are up and running in the meantime.

Dawn 2, She moves

Well, she is finally here. Dawn 2 by Hivewire and of course I was honored to participate in creating some poses for Dawn 2. A nice little set with 20 basic poses and their mirrored version.

Of course this was a project I couldn’t talk about untill the release of Dawn 2. She is compatible in both Daz3D and Poser 12++ and when you are a bit savy with the cloth-room and DForce she can wear most of the clothing for Dawn 1.

The four images above show Dawn 2 rendered in Poser 12 – she comes with a bikini and a basic hair style. A nice little Bun Hair to get you started.

Several items are released with her such as the Salient Dress for Dawn 2. Also compatible for Poser and Daz3D. These two images above show the dress wich is a Dforce dress for Daz3D and a Dynamic dress in Poser.

As you can see these poses are for both DazStudio and Poser 12++. You can find them exclusively in my store at Renderosity.

Exclusive Freebies Added…1

Since my decision to slow down on this “Vendor”-thing, to spend more time on my freebies and have more fun with this Computer Graphics, I’ve revisited some of my older freebies and started uploading them into my “Exclusive Freebie” section.

Also my freebies that were at KCTC will be made available here in the exclusive category for the time being due to circumstances. Wether that will stay permanent remains to be seen.

I started with the Soccertods, wich have a category of their own and I slowly am working through all my other, older freebies that could still be used. I may have to add that some of these freebies were created as early as in the days of Poser 6 and 7. I have tried them in my version of Poser 12 and if they functioned I left them alone. If they needed any adjusting I corrected them and saved them in Poser 12.

Some freebies were made for items that are no longer available for sale and/or download. You will find all the information on the page of the freebie. Please make sure that you have all the items you need for the freebie to work, some of these are old freebies. Sites have changed alot since then.

New style & decisions….

You may have noticed allready if you have been visiting my blog. There have been some changes made in color and style. I don’t know if I’m satisfied yet, or that it is finished so you may encounter some inconvenience during the changes that I’m making. My sincere apologies for that. Please, if you encounter any links not working, let me know.

Also there are some pages added, categories made and re-organising content that is offered here. Certain things may stay the same though.

At the moment I’m working on two quite large sets. Poses for Poser L’Femme and HR229 Hairstyle by Ali. Both available at Renderosity. Mind you, I’m creating the same, almost identical set for Hivewire Dawn. The hairstyle has the option for a longbraid and a shortbraid so the sets will have both options.

The braid loads as a shortbraid by default and you can make it a long braid by dialing the braid to 1.000, I’ve included a pose just for that.

Hivewire Dawn will get the same set, also quite extensive. Both sets will contain 10 Fullbody poses & their mirrored version with the matching braidposes for a short- and a longbraid.

Allthough I’m trying to create both sets as identical as possible, the two characters are rigged so differently that creating the exact same poses with matching braids is not always possible without keeping the poses realistic. So there will be some differences.

These sets, like most of my creations, will be mostly offered here. As an exclusive freebie on my blog. Since these sets a usually more expanded then my usual freebies, they will take up more time.

I would appreciate it greatly for some feedback from those who download these freebies and wether there are some wishes for certain specific freebies. Creating these as a hobby rather then as a vendor will leave me some time learning how to model. I can spend more time with Blender and who knows where that will lead me.

What I’ve been up to….10

A while back, when Hivewire3D was still open and I was a vendor there, I created some poses for Dawn and the Dragonbraid for Dawn by Arki. Since the site closed Hivewire has opened a store at Renderosity where Hivewire Dawn is still available but the Dragonbraid has not been re-released, at least not the Dragonbraid for Dawn. At Daz3D you can obtain the Dragonbraid for Victoria 4 but the poses I created can not be used on that.

So the LittleMissBraided & BraidedAgain poses for Dawn and the Dragonbraid are only available here at my own blog. Still, there are other braided hairstyles about and I found one made by Ali, HR229 and it fits for more characters then just Dawn.

I’ve started creating poses for Dawn, some may look familiar but they have been created in Poser 12 so they are specifically for later versions of Poser. For now I have 10 poses & their mirrored versions for Hivewire Dawn.

I’m also creating a set of poses for LaFemme, allthough some will be similar they will deviate from Dawn’s poses since the figure is do different.

The HR229 has fits for multiple characters so maybe I can create some more pose sets. Maybe after these the men can have some attention.

What I’ve been up to….9

Finally I’ve started with a new venture, learning Blender and I found myself a great simple tutorial on YouTube just for that. How to make a donut in Blender.

And as you all can see, I have just started to shape something called a “Torus” or better a ring-shaped object with a hole in de the middle that allready looks a bit like a donut. Looking at the various steps that are following, it will turn out like a real donut. Or in my case, as real as I can get it but it’s my first time modelling anything and this is just the first lesson soooo.

About my poses, I think I have mistakingly deleted some of the poses I had started on so I can start all of the planned sets all over again. Various words came to mind that I better not repeat here online. But stuff like that happens.

Next on the list is getting to know DazStudio better. All I can say about that is…*sigh*…. I will have to accept that a long and good relationship with that software is never going to happen. So I will just keep it to create poses for certain figures I like and leave the Art on the “to do”-list.

About my wrist. I’ve had the surgery regarding my carpal-tunnel syndrome about two weeks ago and the bandage has been taken of. I’m allowed light work, not to long on the computer at one sitting and no carrying heavy objects for at least 3-4 weeks. Slowly build up. My left wrist will be undergoing the same surgery about 6 weeks from now. All in all this will take about 3 months in total. I have decided to spread my time on the computer and relax my hand regurlarly. So the poses will take longer then normal.

Poses & Textures

Finally I found some time and inspiriation to start creating some poses & freebies in my favorite software. I know, I know,…I still have to figure out DazStudio but you see, the interface DazStudio has and me just don’t get along very well.

So to get back into the rythm of things I turn to the one I know best, Poser. Though I must say, Poser has changed aswell. Never mind, I chose some of my best figures to start working with. Of course there is the incomparable Daz Victoria 4, the breathtaking Hivewire Dawn and of course my bestie among the toons Scampixie Pranx, version 1&2.

And now there is LaFemme, who also comes in various versions these days. There is just no keeping up with all these figures. For starters I pay my attention to LaFemme 2 for now. Just some simple poses to get started with.

These will be just an assorted collection of simple poses for general use and they will come with their mirrored version. I’ve tried these on LFemme 2 & LFemme2 Pro and there seem to be no difference.

LaFemme is quite different in structure then most figures and she requires a bit more attention to get the same flow to the movement but we’ll get there. The second pose, simulating a leaning againt a wall, is almost done so I got back to my textures.

Since LaFemme has a nice set of Basic Clothing Items wich also includes a conforming Basic TShirt I thought of creating some supporter shirts for LaFemme. A girl has to cheer for her favorite soccerclub doesn’t she?! And with the women’s league doing so well…..

I just got started with some TShirts and am still working on them. The Union Jack is a tricky thing though 🙂

What I’ve been up to….8

Now that the old year has ended and the new year has just started it’s time for me to organize some of the freebies that have been offered at the Christmas Advent Calendars & some of the old items that I was creating as products for sale before I put Poser/DazStudio on pause.

One of those items was an extended set of poses featuring Hivewire Dawn and the Hivewire Patio-Set, both available at Renderosity and I must say, those poses were well on their way. The version for DazStudio was in it’s testing-phase and I was about to correct some of the poses since I still have an issue saving the poses in the correct way in DazStudio.

But I got a paid job for a year – wich is almost reaching it’s conclusion – and we are finally starting to give our caravan a total makeover because of that job. My beloved Poser and DazStudio had to wait for at least a year……

…..and these poses had to wait. Since the Poser version was a good as ready I managed to create sets of them and have them offered as freebie at the Fantasy Attic annual Halloween & Christmas Givaway.

For the coming period I will be working ‘till April but there is also a bit of surgery for me to have for wich the date I will probably get tomorrow. I have Carpal Tunnel Syndrome in both my wrists and it seems that it will take several weeks to heal so we will have to see how that goes.

In the meantime, I want you all to have some fun with some freebies of mine wich can only be downloaded from this blog. You’ll find them in the Exclusive Freebie section.
