With the weather becoming extremely hot in this part of the world and me getting a fulltime job, I find myself having little time for my hobbies. Not that much Poser or DazStudio, never mind the PaintShopPro.
The little time I do have, I spend on learning more on how to use DazStudio, their dForce-thing and creating freebies.
For DazStudio I’m trying to create my own personalized G8Female character and this is what I have done so far. Please don’t ask me wich characters are in there but I do love the ability of mixing all these morphs of all these different characters into the base Genesis8 Female. Some with a greater percentage then the other. I call her ‘Lily’ for now.
The jewelry is by Fabiana by the way, who’s products I’m slowly buying for DazStudio. As always, high quality products, wether it’s for Poser or DazStudio.
Another thing that is coming up and pretty important for Europeans in general and a Dutchie like me, is the WorldCup Soccer. And of course I had created the texures for the Soccertods. Wich are exclusive for this Blog.
So I figured I might create some textures like that for my G8F-Character in DazStudio and I purchased some clothing items from ElenaShvet at Renderosity. A nice Baseball Cap, a LongShirt & Stockings.
I started to create my own patterns on the UV-Map that came with each clothing item. My first attempt to create a Soccer-Fan outfit for my daz-dolly.
The LongShirt took me quite a while to create the pattern. Since I use the orginal UV-Map that came with the clothing as a template, I had to select each facet seperately. I had to do the same with the Stockings.
For now I’ve added the texture maps to the clothing in DazStudio to the original textures that the clothing items came with and I’m not going to release these as textures. Maybe just only the image-maps I created.
There might be some tube though, I will just have to see how much time I have before the Soccer WorldCup starts.
O and yes,…..the most beloved national color of the Netherlands is orange.
For now I will just enjoy the good weather, work during the week and spend my hobby-time in the weekends.
